Rockfax Description
60m. A magnificent, strenuous route on excellent rock on the undulating quartz band and the roofs above.
1. 25m 5c Climb up to and follow a right-diagonal wide band of pink pegmatite across the overhanging wall. As the steepness relents onto a smooth slab, move up and right to gain a crack-line that trends back left slightly with increasing difficulty to reach a small stance; belay beneath the big roofs. A pumpy pitch.
2. 35m 5c From just above the belay move down and left between the big roof above and another below. Pull through the roof, which is a leaning wall at this point, via a conspicuous fat spike to gain a ledge below another roof. Move left to bypass this and climb direct to the top on huge holds.
