280m. The lower section - is a good intro. It can be bypassed but is a good familiarisation section for the main VF or a good introduction for those new to VF.

There is parking next to the Los Pasos sports center, the municipal swimming pool, in the northeast area of the town. There is parking for about 20 cars.

To access the Via Ferrata follow the path upwards in the direction of the Sierra de Redován, small round posts marked “ferrata” indicate the direction (trending up the hill and to the left). The start of the initial sector can be reached in about 15 minutes.

It is not immediately clear that this initial section finishes after the rightwards traverse across a wooden plank and staples over a 5m drop (which comes after the slatted bridge, the metal balance beam, and a steep stapled section).

At this point, there is a choice of heading left and upwards towards the main VF or following the path to the right which takes you back to the car park.
