Rockfax Description
S0. A journey beneath some of the UK's most adventurous climbing terrain which is also used to approach the routes. Usually accomplished as a DWS started from the left, although you can also approach the routes from the other end. Start at sea level in Anstey's Cove, down and left (looking out) of the Cocytus buttress. It is possible at mid-to-low tide only. Traverse right on huge holds to a steeper section. Once past this point, a 'ridge like' reef is encountered that provides an excellent view of the Sanctuary Wall. Cross a couple of inlets and traverse wildly below the wall on massive holds, to where some scrambling and boulder-hopping leads to an exit onto the Long Quarry Point floor just beyond a pinnacle. © Rockfax
