Rockfax Description
A remarkable climb in a very impressive location. Scramble up Lord's Rake and out along the West Wall Traverse until it meets the bed of Deep Gill. Cross the bed of the gill to the base of the face. Start under the huge arete.
1) 4a, 25m. Follow the left side of the arete past a flake and then on up the arete to a stance and belay in a large grassy bay. A bold pitch in an amazing position
2) 4a, 20m. Climb up into the corner above and then move rightwards up the slabby wall on the right to a ledge. Move up left and over a bulge and then leftwards over another to easier ground. A very exposed lead. © Rockfax
