βeta: There's a fresh yellow scar under the roof, so it looks like the recent loose block is now gone and I didn't spot anything else obviously loose. The whole block which forms the roof doesn't actually appear to be attached to the cliff though, as there are cracks on all sides... | βeta? | |

βeta: Actually a pretty good route (one of the best here). Despite other comments on this site Smalldale does give some decent long sport routes in the middle grades and is partucularly useful as an evening venue. Ok the rock isn't perfect but this is peak limestone after all. | βeta? | |
