Rockfax Description
Stackpole's first ever route. This is the direct version. The original first pitch starts around on the South Face; the second pitch features the upper groove system on the West Face.
1) 5a, 14m. Climb the lower corner, then the steep groove above, using the short slab on the left to gain the belay ledge above.
2) 5a, 14m. The clean groove is followed all the way to a good exit.
1a) Original Start 4c, 18m. Climb the accommodating groove, to arrive at the halfway ledge, then traverse leftwards along the ledge system to gain the foot of the groovy second pitch. © Rockfax
