Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

UKClimbing Team

The continuation to Punta Anna is not as good, but certainly has it moments and leads to the summit.

Chris Manasseh 3 Sep, 2018 - Superb continuation after Punta Anna. A bit more unavoidable use of metal, including a sensational, mind-numbingly exposed traverse. There must be 500m of nothing under your feet!

CMacD 27 Jul, 2015 - Punta Anna and the follow on Gianni Aglio to the summit of Tofana Di Mezzo. From the Rifugio Dibona early in the morning to avoid the chair lift crowds, retuned to the Dibona by down climbing to Bus de Tofana then through the window. First ever via ferrata. Punta Anna was good but the Gianni Aglio was absolutely stunning, one of the best days out in the mountains ever.

Andy Clarke 7 Aug, 2006 - Combined with Punta Anna for an outstanding day out. Features a superbly exposed traverse. Fairly cold and snowy high up, which added to the atmosphere. And then just jump on the cable car - no boring walk off. Combination makes for the best VF I've done.
