Rockfax Description
A handy exit if you have bitten off more than you can chew on Taith Mawr, or if you got benighted, scared or both! From the belay at the end of pitch four of Taith Mawr, leave the bay heading left to gain a series of sloping ramps leading to a blocky tower with a V-shaped cam slot on its right-hand side. Ascend this tower and head up to a steep bay with a stepped arete in its middle. Climb the arete, shuffle left and ascend to a vegetated shelf. Gain the shelf on the right and bumble left around the arete to an easier exit. © Rockfax
