Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
A popular route which some rate as a sport route at 6a+. Climb the line of weakness to a bolt, then make a hard traverse right to gain the crack and a small wire. Carry on up the crack/ramp-line past a bolt on the right. Then, at the bolt above the ramp on the left, move up and left onto a headwall, and make for the large ledge below the lower-off. UKC Logbook Description
A popular route, well-protected. Ascend the LH crackline to the first bolt, then make the crux move to gain the RH crackline and further protection. With a new, third bolt near the top, the finish is best tackled direct.
