Shining Clough - Via Principia S 4a ***
Maybe best route of the day, definitely severe but sustained all the way up, steepness never letting you fully rest, but no move being too taxing. Closest thing to indoor wall climbing that I've encountered on real rock.

Fell off the first move, not quite a finger crack. Almost slipped off rampy bit before jamming foot back in. All in all a bit on the edge of what I can climb today.

A traditional climb, a battle. Thought I'd got a cam big enough for the midway wide crack but no, so bold approach required. Made the first moves way harder than necessary by getting knee stuck as I reached decent hand hold and just ended up pulling in opposite directions using different bits of my body with each attempt at movement. Further up, decent moves between reasonable rests.
