Matterhorn - Hornli Ridge (NE) AD ***
In descent as part of the full traverse from Italy. A day I’ll never forget but the Hornli is a giant pile of choss. Do the Lion ridge! The Hornli hut is a rip off too.

Matterhorn - Lion Ridge (Italian Ridge) AD+ ***
Started at 4.50am and took 5 hours. A great varied line which is not easy and a big undertaking. Standing on the summit was magic! Descended down the Hornli which is far inferior.
