Dave Birkett has put up an extremely impressive new route onto an un-named crag in Wasdale. The steep buttress, which lies above Low Adam Crag and about 1 hour from the road, offers a huge central prow up which the route goes. Nowt but a Fleein' Thing has been given a grade of E8 6c (hard 8a).
This crag lies on the Wasdale Screes, up and left of Low Adam Crag, and can be reached in 1 hour from the Youth Hostel. It is easily recognised by its ferocious-looking overhangs.
