Yesterday I felt like an ignorant idiot after posting the news of Alex Honnold's ascent of The New Statesman, calling it the 2nd ascent of this Stevie Mac-route, when it was infact the umpteenth ascent of a John Dunne-route (I confused it with the Elder statesman). Impressive nontheless, but I shouldn't make this kind of mistakes, especially not now... Anyway, Alex found this route significantly harder than the EOTA and Gaia, which is hardly surprising as it weighs in around 8a+ as opposed to 7b and 7b+. The E-grade is the same as Gaia though, E8 6c.
