British junior team member Molly Thompson-Smith has taken over as British junior team captain, following her excellent competition results this year.

Luke Tilley, the previous team captain, has now moved on from junior competition as he is too old, leaving the gap in to which Molly has stepped.

Molly's recent performance at the recent European Youth Cup in Kranj, Slovenia, where Molly came in second place in the Youth B category (ages 14 and 15), has pushed up her overall world ranking to 3rd.

She also looks set to do well in the next age category - Last weekend Molly came 2nd in the (Youth A) female bouldering and won the (Youth A) female lead in the British Youth Open.

Molly also has a blog - you can follow her here: Molly's Blog
