In Isolation - Ep. 13: Series Highlights and Olympic Predictions

© Eddie Fowke/The Circuit Climbing

As competitions restart - and given the fact that we're no longer 'in isolation' - it seemed like a good time to wrap up our video series and look ahead to Tokyo 2020. In this final episode of In Isolation, Charlie Boscoe, Mike Langley and I look back at some of our favourite moments from the series and discuss who we think will fill the final Olympic quota places, plus who our money is on for Tokyo.

Stay tuned for a UKC feature on the Olympic-qualified athletes coming soon...

*This episode was recorded before the announcement today that China is moving to cancel all sporting events in 2020, which will impact the IFSC season and - most importantly - the Asian Continental Championships, which is an Olympic selection event. We are awaiting a response from the IFSC.

Catch up with Episode 12, an interview with GB Climbing Team member Will Bosi, below:

We need your help.

UKClimbing is a vibrant web site with rich content and an amazing community. So far, all we've asked of you is that you visit and interact with the site but we are in uncertain times. We need to look at ways to keep the site moving forward whilst maintaining our key aim of allowing free access to everyone to our main content. The site will continue to be mainly funded by a subtle level of outdoor-only advertising but we now need extra support to ensure we can continue to provide the UKC that we all know and love.

You can help us by becoming a UKC Supporter. This can be in a small way or in a larger package that includes discounted products from our sister-publishing company Rockfax.

If you appreciate UKClimbing then please help us by becoming a UKC Supporter.

Are these available as a podcast or similar. Pain in the bum on YouTube as you can’t use your phone for anything else whilst it’s playing.

They're not available as podcasts unfortunately. Watch them on a laptop/desktop if you want to browse other stuff?

That's a real first world problem you've got Gav :-)
