We are looking for qualified climbing instructors to join our sports team at the University of Liverpool.

Sport Liverpool provide a range of sports facilities across the Liverpool region for students, staff and the local community.  Our new climbing wall due to open soon, and we are looking to add to our team at the main campus sports and fitness centre.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, highly self-motivated with a can-do-attitude, be able to make positive contributions to our professional team ethic and spirit. Individuals must be hard-working and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. In return, we provide comprehensive in-service training and personal development opportunities.

We are looking for experienced climbers with the following:

• Enthusiasm for climbing and bouldering.
• Previous climbing wall experience.
• Experience in climbing or bouldering with groups.
• Knowledge of basic climbing terminology and climbing gear.
• Current Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI), Climbing Wall Development Instructor (CWDI) or Rock-Climbing Instructor (RCI) qualification (Consideration maybe given to candidates working towards the above qualifications).
• Climbing ability at V3 or above.
• Up to date Industry knowledge.
• The ability to work as part of a shift rota, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Front of House experience.
• Setting experience.
