Big Rock now reopen following major refurbishment
Big Rock Hub climbing centre in Kingston, Milton Keynes has recently re-opened following an extensive refurbishment programme in May 2019.
We're excited to announce our incredible UK and European ambassadors for 2018. Through thick and thin we periled to find the best of the best. Hundreds of applications came in through our call for ambassadors, and we've selected some fantastic new members to be a part of the 3RD ROCK team for this exciting upcoming year.
For 2018, we are also heading across the pond and launching our USA Team.

Rachel Carr | Edinburgh, Scotland
Climbing coach and previous champion of the BMC YCS, Edinburgh local Rachel Carr had a start as a competition climber but now focuses on coaching and sending hard boulders outdoors. Rachel has bouldered up to 7C+ and flashed 7B+. This year she plans to focus on her first 8A.
Mikey Cleverdon | Devon, UK
The man in the South West. Mikey holds notable ascents such as the First Ascent of Pe'ahi 8A+ of and The Waterman 8B, the Moors hardest bloc. After suffering a stroke, Mikey remarkably came back to make those ascents, as well as the 2nd Ascent of The End is Nigh 7C+/8A just 12 months after his stroke.
One of the leading female outdoor boulderers in the Yorkshire scene, Holly has taken on classics such as Ben's Roof Extension 8A and Chimes Extension 8b at Raven Tor. Travelling for climbing frequently whilst managing her career as a veterinary surgeon, Holly has managed to crush boulders internationally as well, including the famous Caroline 7C+ in Rocklands.
Patrick has been climbing for 20+ years and has reached up to 8c sport climbing and 8B bouldering. Part of a team of 10 athletes for the DAV German Alpine Club, Patrick has sent 8A boulders in Magic Wood, Chironico and Iceland. Patrick has big plans for 2018, including a trip to Zimbabwe.
