I waited about 10 minutes for the skier to move onto the skyline to give a sense of scale to the cornices.

I've given a 5, but I'd like to see this in black and white. I think it would enhance the textures even more.

JamesHiggins - I think I prefer it in colour, the sky and the surface hoar set it off just perfectly for me. Christ on a bike! Look at them Cornices!

Did the skier not 'drop in' ! There'll be some classic lines to be had in the spring.

Skier is well back from the edge, you can make out the ski-tracks just behind him. I was more at risk locating the safest part of the cornice that overlooked the edge!

Excellent! lovely light sculpturing on the snow, were you roped when you took it looks very near the cornice.
