Late afternoon sunshine at Llyn Padarn. Looks like a good moment to climbing on Cloggy!

Very nice Dave, hope to get my G1 in the next couple of weeks; fantastic colours !

Hi Mr Mills! The G1 is a great camera for the mountains, but I have to confess that most of the pics since December are not with the kit lens. Get yourself a lens mount for any good lens you might have. The sensor, as you can see, is superb!

Got my sensors on the D80 cleaned at cambrian just before I went to Scotland for the weekend , still getting dust spots on some of the photos ? This is strange as I was using just the one lens, most were ok a bit miffed really !

The G1 sensor self-cleans.

Another good one Dave - have 5*
If you get to this viewpoint at certain sunset conditions, you c an get a lovely red alpenglow on Crib Goch and Cloggy BTW - just a thought for another time :o)

I prefer the other photo Dave, more tranquility and nicer foreground. I went there twice last weekend but the lighting was cr*p.

I agree with you, Sean. But I often find the photo I like the most doesn't seem attract the same attention as some I think are just ok. I suppose it what makes an impact on someone else's screen! You missed out a bit on the weather, which must have been frustrating.
