Dick Barton never had a case like this. 'LBinkin' heck. Those trees look lovely and the whole thing is beyond madness, enchanting to believe but far far from home for me currently. You have to be climbing well to gain such beautiful opportunities and this one lasts for a while obviously. Well done.

Well I think it's a great photo! Don't quite understand the logic involved though; I mean this isn't a free solo of Salathe is it? Why solo part of a route? (I'm not being funny, I just don't get it!)

Don't want to belittle someones achievement if this shot is real, but it looks remarkably like a photoshop chop job to me - and not a particuarly good one either. One guys head pasted onto a shot of someone else soloing the route. The relationship between the chin and adams-apple is completely wrong, although there is reasonable continuity between shadows. The thing that most confuses me is that so many people have brought into it. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?!

No mate, nothing suspicious jumped out at me about 'Copying Alex' but even in the thumbnail of this image the head immediately seemed to be pasted onto a background image.
Sorry for any offense I might have caused and cheers for not jumping down my throat calling me bitter, jealous or what ever - which simply isn't the case (well not of your ability, certainly jealous of your being out there! :) ).

Is this just posed? can't work out whether you have just stepped off the ledge below, done amove or so and posed for the camera? if not then good effort!

Excellent snap Marky boy and one I hope your mum hasn't seen. For those of you who don't know Mark, the suggestion that this is in any way staged or fake is just insulting. If I was that high up mate, my balls would be in my throat too. Love the snaps kid - stay safe..
