Another good photo.
Good sky exposure, if a little flat.
Notice the relationship between the high cloud and the flowing lines of the rock?.. :)

So it was posed then Al? Love the sheep poo in the foreground... Good pic BTW Si

Difficult not to pose a self-timer shot but I did complete the problem. The sheep poo is because my tripod is only 10cm tall.

Has this photo been tweaked digitally? Doesn't quite look right! Not criticizing, just curious. Killer shot.

I used Shadow/Highligths in Photoshop which brought out the rock texture a bit since in the original image the boulder was quite dark.

All that advice you read about getting your climber subject to wear brightly colored t-shirts is baloney, its all in the trousers!

I was fooled for a moment then I noticed the pinnacle in the background. Now the better pic is using the same composition but to actually capture the climber soloing the pinnacle itself. Still a nice shot.

I am sure that sky was added as an after thought. Can see the lines!!!!

Photoshop is a great tool!!!!

I agree with Ben - unfortunately the contrast isn't very high and that's certainly a bummer. But the fact that every other single element is perfect definitely more than compensates. 5+!

Good sky - looks like some dissipating contrails in there.
