Best Climbing Experience
Starting out in the Lawrencefield & Yarncliffe quarries & learning the hard way what you really should & most certainly should not do, to climb safely. Ignorance was bliss when your young and rather naive

About My Photography
Used slide and film back in the day and shoot mostly Nikon's. With the odd Leica camera too. Went through a phase of taking more pictures than actual climbing, but this has thankfully reversed over the last 10 years and I now forget to take photo's with my chalky hands.

Anything Else We Should Know
After many years of living & climbing in the Peak I should be an ace climber, but I'm crap. I'm enthusiastic for new routes & problems though and proud to have unearthed a few gems in my time as well as the odd touch of choss.
