Martin bailed out when the attacks became unbearable. These were mostly from below and verbal, along the lines of:
"That's not an egg; it's 'is 'ead."
"Haven't seen Martin with a bird for ages"; and
"Yeah, and the last one threw up on him as well".
Good effort though.

We had this problem on Rat Race (Gogarth) once, and gave up in the end and went elsewhere!

Friend of mine had a similar experience on this very route, he was actually bleeding from the scalp by the time he lowered off ...I declined the chance to follow him up the line!
