A Traverse of Royal Soverin at Birchen edge at night. Light is my head torch. I attached a blue sweet wrapper to my head torch to give the blue light as i thought it would contrast well with the orange glow of Sheffield and Chesterfield.

Excellent photo, but the important question is .... what flavour was the sweet?

really nice - well done.

Thanks for the comments! Haha, it was a free mint I got after a meal out. The mint was pretty rubbish if I remember rightly...

One of the best head touch shots I've seen, very nice!

Absolute cracker, love it.

Sorry, these gimmicky head torch things do absolutely nothing for me. Seems to have little to reflect reality. Maybe it's just me.

Art is sometimes surreal.

Good thinking on the blue/orange, came out well. Mr Durran, it's an aesthetic, pleasing to the eye - nothing whatsoever to do with 'reality'. :0)

Thanks everyone for your comments. As others have already said i was not aiming for to reflect reality in this shot. I personally like head torch shots as i feel it can tell more of a story than a static person. Also as said I find it aesthetically pleasing. However i appreciate it's not to everyone's taste, that's the beauty of photography I guess.

Mr Durran... if it's not your taste, move on to the next one. It does nothing for you... who cares? Nice shot and the blue filter is a great touch.
