My best day and worst day climbing rolled into one.

I probably shouldn't ask, but can you share the story?

Nice climb and if I remember right abbing over a massive roof on the way down was fun.

Ah that was the problem for me that spoiled the day, my abseil rope got caught near the top of the crag in the high wind, and I set off abseiling thinking that everything would work out and be okay. It wasn't and I got stuck over the roof, with a stuck abseil rope going away back up the face. I reached for my prussiks and dropped them. I then watched my partner solo climb onto the face to free the rope. Best two hours of climbing of my life followed by worst thirty minutes all in one afternoon. My lesson learned was that if the abseil rope was not hanging free, I had to go and fix it before setting off. It was horrible and I still shudder if I think about it.

That should read that I got caught up under the roof, dangling there watching my mate solo was horrendous watching.

Nice photo. Is a lovely little route. Am glad the day ended without incident in the end!

Look more like you're on Via del diedro than via ignazio dibona.
