I'm impressed that you all managed to grin, I found that "belay" utterly terrifying. But why on earth did you go to do Astrid as a 3?

me too, I found it one of the scariest places I've ever started a route from. FatRob is actually belaying Liam (the routesetter) on Mars, all very cosy!
