John, are you sure its Sirplum , looks like its futher down the dale , maybe Thin Thin Groove ?

No I am not sure. It is an isolated slide which I have rationalized. I chickened out on seconding Roger in 1974 and found someone else to second him (thereby hangs a story) but did it five years later with Martin Harri. I did at some stage do Thin Thin but see no reason to have photoed someone else doing it. So I stick with my identification but am prepared to accept another interpretation. By the way, when were the rail tracks taken up? sorry to hear if your misfortunes and wish you all the very best.

John, the route is Dangleberry VS 4c. Thor's Hammer takes the crack above the climber's right arm - E1 5b or HVS 5a depending on which of the latest guides you read.

Then I am not sure when and why I took it or who the climbers are. Anyhow, the railway tracks were there, so anyone rember when they were lifted.

If that is Dangleberry then it is me leading it in June 1970
