This is the best way to climb it, and even so, I think it's still very hard for HVS. The problem with the 'normal' way, facing left, is turning round at the top of the peapod, which is definitely the crux.

Lovely hand jam up there though if my memory serves me correctly. Still remains the hardest HVS I've ever done.

Great shot & the angle shows us something very different from the normal shots...The climber is about where I got to when I got Elvis leg. I couldn't move up at all with my leg going 10 to the dozen. I had been obsessing about Peapod & was gutted to admit defeat... I never went back with the trauma - although you never know...
