Its the ascent of Mont Blanc by the Gouter ridge, it has to be!

Well I know the Midi cable car gives out numbered tickets for the cars, didn't think they had started giving them for the routes.
Have I mentioned that when we climbed the North face of the Brunneghorn, we were the only people on the face? In fact, we were the only people on the mountain. Still, can't match the North face of the Tour Ronde, can you? Not if you want to be so sociable, that is.

Get 'frique up, get a bad nights sleep, get up too early, go up ridge, get 'frique down.
Excellent picture of the remote, harsh, mountain environment.
And it's less crowded than Everest.

That's the one advantage of climbing MB in the winter.
