Where does the climb go?
Morgan Woods - 23/Apr/07
According to the guide, follow the continuous line. But this is very poorly protected and I have watched other climbers get into trouble in the blank middle section. My dotted line variation is a little harder technically [still 5a ] but there is plenty of gear. Let me know how you get on.

This is the line I took. Felt more natural and, like you say, alot safer!

But its not the route!
Al Evans - 01/Feb/09
Your line is a combination of Freda and Grandmas Groove.

I agree it's the wrong line, but for me, a VS 5a route should be hard but well protected. The classic line is poorly protected in the mid section (from where my dotted line leaves and reconnects). Perhaps the direct line should be upgraded to a HVS 5a ...
