Touch out the lens flare/abberation in the lower left of the picture and you have a great shot
Sean Kelly - 20/May/05
Agreed. How do I do that?
Jonny Tee 69 - 22/May/05
Stunning :) But PLEASE upload it again at a higher JPEG quality.
Nick Smith - Climbers - 22/May/05
Nice photo! I agree about removing the lens flare. Use the rubber stamp in Photoshop, although it may be tricky in this case since you have a lot of detail under the flare.
What's a cairngorm and where was this shot taken?
John Blab - 23/May/05
The Cairngorms are a large group of granite mountains forming a high glaciated plateau. A cairngorm is a semi-precious form of smoky quartz (I think) that forms amber coloured crystals. The photo was taken from the plateau above Coire an-t-Sneachda.

It may be easier to just crop out the lens flare than touch it out.
Chris Fryer - 30/May/05
Aye, I came to the same conclusion Chris.

Taking the piss how?
Jonny Tee 69 - 02/Nov/05
Having to explain a Cairn-gormless.
dek - 03/Nov/05
Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. If he was then it was hardly worth the effort.
PS Up yours buddy.
Jonny Tee 69 - 04/Nov/05
Looks like the plateau is on fire...which I'm sure it wasn't!
Rod S - 21/Dec/05
The setting sun was catching the spindrift. Amazing effect. Should've really taken a lot more photos.
