Not strictly a climbing photo but hopefully one climbers can appreciate. Taken from the mast top of a traditional schooner whilst sailing towards Bear Island (which incidentally has a huge amount of unclimbed peaks in the vicinity) just off the east coast of Greenland. As a first time sailor I was quite fascinated by the rope work differences with climbing - never a proper knot if a fraction wrap is possible.

Simply stunning shot James. Have got similar slides from an OYC yacht mast of the west coast of Scotland back in late seventies, no ice of course.
