XF 10-24 at 24mm. F4, 50 secs, ISO 1600. Still needed considerable brightening when processing. It was about a quarter moon which seems to give an impression of a full moon when trying to get both the moonlight and stars looking realistic - I really don't like shots which make moonlight look bright as day and stars in a blue sky! My first proper attempt at this sort of thing, so could probably be much improved on.

The green tinge in the sky was not apparent until I uploaded the photo to UKC!

Interesting, useful to know, looks like you got a pretty good result to me. Not something I have tried but I might give it a go.

Tripod?
IM - 02/Oct/19
A tiny mini tripod light enough to travel with. It meant the camera was a bit close to the ground though.

Oops. It was at 10mm, not 24mm.

First attempt seems to have been successful I'd say. Have a 5.

Shutter type makes a difference, so a Compur shutter shouldn't deform the moon. However most SLR's have a horizontal travel blind.
