It was taken from the top of Glas Maol. Car was parked in Perthshire even though the summit is in Aberdeenshire....!

Creative use of the boundary is needed! Yesterday I parked in Dalwhinnie which is more than the extra 5 miles allowed for exercise beyond the boundary at Drumochter up the A9, but conveniently within 5 miles of a point on the boundary in the hills to the east. This was needed for my cunning photo plan ;-)

Robert- we’ve taken a very detailed look at the Perthshire boundary which threw up some surprises in terms of permitted areas. There is indeed a strange extended tongue which to the east actually goes past Dalwhinnie
