Hi lasonj, thanks very much. I'd been really keen to do this route all season, and ended up climbing it with two French climbers (Erick and Cedric - who you see here) who work and live in Glasgow. Great company, perfect conditions and weather. Can't ask for much more, really.

Is it just me who can't quite make my eyes focus on the left hand side of this picture. It looks like it's just the mountain sloping away, but it also looks like it could be the near side of a gully.

Know what you mean withey, it does look a bit wierd..the original before compression looks similiar. What you're looking at is the less steep bottom half of the buttress, sloping away underneath the corner of Quickstep.
