A bit of an experiment - I don't usually 'do' B&W but I thought this worked better this way.

I like the B&W, think it might be better in protrait though!

Thanks Steve. I tried portrait first as I thought justthe same, but somehow it kind of looked like she was standing on the floor - no idea why. This orientation made it seem high up and overhanging, somehow - more like it really was. It's funny how we perceive stuff, isn't it?

fantastic! Something a bit different and great capture of her expression.

Blimey, I look terrified! Think it was more just an awkward reach to get that cam where I wanted it ;0)

Yeah, I know - I know you weren't, but you do look rather apprehensive. I still think it's a really good pic of you! Hope you like it!

I think its a great picture :0)

I think the look in the eyes could be mistaken for fear, but probably it's just coz of the looking sideways to see the placement and showing a lot of white.

Ha haa - I notice the 'rubbish voter' has paid a visit!

Never seen this before it's great. I think a slightly tighter crop and then go portrait would push it up to a 6.

Good enough as it is but agree with the comment above. Crop it and try portrait makes it easier on the eye to "read" the facial expression.
