This has to be one of the odder pictures on the site. Is the climber on an actual established/graded pitch?

Yes! It's actually harder than it looks (about VDiff?), and there's also a better rock-to-shrubbery ratio than appears from below! The 'meat' of the route is in the second pitch though...

I've got a vague feeling Shelob is on my 'through routes' list - at least I now know what to expect! lol

Did this last weekend and it was in even worse condition than in this photo - huge plants and earth on every hold and gear placement (thought one or two moves were quite testing on the slab, more than VDiff mostly due to excess foliage), the cave pitch is great though.
