now 66 yrs old! Been climbing for 45+ years. Retired now Live in Peak District. Much prefer trad. to sport.
Hoping to get back into climbing at a higher standard once again, but we,ll see

Best Climbing Experience
Hard to say, so many. Leading Elder Crack my first grit extreme, in 1969. First mixedroute in Alps 38 route on Eiger. Spending time climbing on Cerro Torre with Tom Proctor.
Driving one Summers day up to lakes, walking in to do Cumbrian & Shere Khan. Drive home. Brill! Soloing Austrian Route on Courtes in 2.5hrs & N. Face Triolet both in morn. Back to Cham. for late lunch. Climbing ABO grade bolted routes in Cham. on that immaculate granite. All long ago!!
Nowadays spend more time in garden looking at Mont Blanc and Aiguilles Skiing in winter but still valley cragging
