In only caught the men's final, but congrats due to the British men who put in excellent performances. Gaz Parry's effort on the 6th problem and Mark Croxall's on the 4th was what it's all about. You've got to really want it!

I watched the women's qualifiers on Sat but not the final. No surprise that Sandrine Levet came first. I would be interested to know other placings in the women's final.
I was there for the whole event marshelling and what i saw of the comp was awesome. The crowds reaction when Gaz completed the 6th problem said it all (only 3 did it).
That hand jam on the 4th problem in the final looked evil
Was the dyno comp sidest again? Could you only jump from a double handed hold, to the catch a hold with your left hand? What about folk that catch better and further with thier right?

Alex - the female competitor in the first pic is Samantha Berry from Australia.
The dyno comp was straight up (or down...) from 2 good hand holds to a rounded jug (cheeky!) and footholds were a bit low for my liking but nevermind. The comp was a good laught tho!
I was amazed to come across this blokes name for the second time in one day - he seems to have also done the 3rd ascent of the route in my profile pic.
