Move any mountain - the shamen

Good times -chic

Straight, no chaser - Theolonius Monk

The Treasure - Stephen Stills

New Gold Dream - Simple Minds

Music for Airports - Brian Eno

Sea of joy - Blind Faith

 Concerto grossi -Handel

It is possible that some of these aren't necessarily happy but they just remind me of happy things.

Judging by the lack of replies.

I'd say nobody is happy or actually wants to be.

There are lots more I may be able to think of later, but it's Monday morning and I'm just going back to work after a week off.

I'd say that at post-22:00 on a Saturday, people are either out, or engaging in deeper threads. This one got pushed down the list

I have lots of happy songs.

Desert by Alessi's Ark
Golden Summer by Helen Love
Riding Hi by Helen Love
Party in the Woods by Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers
Eight Steps by Electrelane

Isn’t that what is meant by “involved in deeper threads”?

I was busy with a futile attempt to get someone to put his money where his mouth is, regarding advance train bookings. That one went well.

It sounds happy and it makes me happy when I hear it. I think that was the intent of the thread.

In general I think the correlation between happy lyrics and happy feelings engendered by listening to them is pretty poor. Any sort of analysis of pop lyrics reveals a remarkable paucity of analloyed joy. Slade perhaps.
