I've just watched this on the iplayer and yes it is yet more rubberneck TV but it did make me wonder how we as a generation have educated our kids in these matters better than any generation previously, sexual health is such a big issue. With so much education about STI's these days it is astounding to hear the shite that comes comes out of some peoples mouths.
The 17 year old lass who has already had sex with 20+ blokes and most of it unprotected. Her response when the interviewer asked about her worrying promiscuity? "Well I only go with blokes who look ok and never go with blokes who ain't from this country so I'm not too worried"
Manc lad has confirmed gonorrhea from a one night stand while cheating on his girlfriend "its not like proper cheating when you're drunk though is it"
I genuinely felt gutted for the bloke who tested positive for HIV but even then, after admitting having sex with someone who was HIV positive and having unprotected oral sex he claimed that he didn't know how he'd got it?
Ok so we've all had dalliances we aren't proud of but how have we created a generation that seems happy to play russian roulette when there is so much information, advice and free protection available?
Remember kids - no glove, no love
