I was wondering if anyone had any tips/ beta to share about Cadarese and more specifically if anyone had been in October? Is it still climbable then or likely to cold and wet?
Yes definitely. Probably ideal. It doesn’t get that much sun so take that into account. Dries pretty fast but can be a bit damp if it’s just rained, like the day/night before.
It will definitely still be climbable in October, but it is a west facing crag and pretty shaded with trees and so can get very chilly once the sun goes in. Great camping down in the valley, but that also gets very cold in the mornings/evening once the sun has dipped behind the mountain ridges. Quite a rainy area of Italy but lots of the routes do dry out quickly.
