Heading up late april/early may....so may well be a wash out. But if by some miracle it's dry ... maybe even sunny (!?) would anyone recommend some good scrambling days out?

I'm going up with the girlfriend so the cuillin ridge is out. Although I was thinking maybe we could do a short section of it? She's very capable (can second HVS) but doesn't like the associated suffering with moving fast.

I've ordered the cicerone guide to scrambling on skye. But wondered if the UKC hive mind had any days out to recommend? We'll be in a van.

thanks!

In reply to Kemics:

Better off getting SMC's Skye Scrambles if you can.

Round of Coire Lagan is a cracking day out taking in some best bits of ridge but may be a bit long? Includes An Stac and In Pinn as well as Sgurr Mhic Choinnich and Sgurr Alasdair. Top route.

Catch boat from Elgol and do the  Dubh Ridge.

Pinnacle Ridge on Sgurr nan Gillean.

Check out FB group All Things Cuillin or drop in on us at Sconser for a chat and some pointers. Hope you bring some good weather.
