For anyone who may be interested, here's quite an insight into how soldiers operate in an alpine environment as part of a pilot rescue mission. Something a little different I guess

Excellent! Mountaineering, pixeled out faces and shooty bits!

In reply to GarethSL:

The paid promotional content isn't very clear is it? I can see under the video it says Scarpa and Toyota, but watching it I was wondering whether it gun makers!

In reply to GarethSL:

I'm not sure I'd have carried a climbing helmet on top of wearing a steel helmet for the walk-in.

If somebody is going to be shooting at me while climbing I reckon the risk of falling rocks is the least of my worries.

In reply to GarethSL:

Looks like the Norwegian military use the "other" DMM Catalogue, although you'd have thought they could have found some less bright accessory cord...

Actually, most of his army videos, he’s keeping his clothes on…

In reply to GarethSL:

I think it is fair to say he got shown up there!

In reply to nickinscottishmountains: I thought he did just fine to be honest. That would be a tough day out without a 35kilo bag
