What has Sepp Jöchler done that is noteworthy other than be part of the team for the first ascent of Cho Oyu?

I'm asking because he needs to have done more than one notable thing in order to justify a Wikipedia page.

It's really annoying when Wikipedia pages about people, who have done an awful lot, are deleted. This happens quite often. There was a page about Sepp Jöchler previously, but it was deleted. I'd like to put another one up, but I need a bit more. When previously deleted pages are recreated, Wikipedia editors with 'attitude' often look at them closely.

I'll try to track down the references from the German language page.
