Quechua treckinganti-lock - how to turn it on/off

I feel a bit dumb asking this but I am flummoxed. Sherri has a pair of Quechua Forclaz 500 anti-shock trekking poles and has manage to 'turn off' the anti-shock. I have check on the web and it suggests locking the poles then turning 'another half turn' to lock/unlock them.

The problem is 'another half turn' just tightens/loosens the pole further.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers,

Chris

Looks like a " no" then!

Do you have to depress the anti-shock, and then turn? I seem to remember my friend having the same problem on the TMB, and it took a bit of fiddling to figure it out. It's in the lowest section,  IIRC.

In reply to captain paranoia:

Thanks for the reply, I have had it to pieces and I can't find any way of locking/unlocking the rod with the spring around it. At that point one worked an one didn't, so I could compare them - now both are locked - not got a clue how.

I'll have to take them into a Decathlon so they can show me

Chris
