Shame that the petition is badly worded to the extent that it doesn't reflect how National Parks work and exist:
"prevent it being restricted by landowners, who we believe should not really be allowed to own land within national parks".

Not sure if it's intentional, but clicking that Link automatically adds your signature to the petition with no warning to that effect.

It doesn't.

It just says that Sean Kelly's name has been added. If you go to the actual petition you have to input your details and then your name is only added when you click the link to it from the email they send to the address you registered.

I'm not sure it does the cause any good to be so poorly-crafted as to be able to be taken apart so easily by anyone looking for an argument. In a world where first impressions are important and where veracity is already often lacking, it's not a good look regardless of how passionately you believe in the principle.

Sorry, it's not Dartmoor though is it?  "Enshrine in law rights to roam and wild camp in national parks".  Very different question to "Please overturn the lunacy that just happened and reinstate the status quo".
