Any advice or strategies to reduce getting out of breath?

Hold your breath for as long as you can, and then use it when needed?

Lie horizontal, without moving.

Technically it's called 'dead'.

(1) slow down. Then

(2) make sure the breathlessness is not a symptom/ sign of a medical condition (disclaimer. I am not a doctor)

When doing what?

Generally, if you're getting out of breath when doing some physical activity, you need to improve your fitness. Provided, as above, you don't have some medical problem.

Some of us possibly haven't been quite as sympathetic to the OP as we might have been.

Other than the Stevie Haston strategy: 'Train harder, fool!' - the obvious first step is to see a GP. If you feel you're disproportionately out of breath then there's all sorts of things it could be - some easily fixable, some less so.

This is all well and good, but how does it stop me getting out of breath?
