a) Hopefully Boris, surely no sane electorate could vote for him
b) Not sure yet
c) Hopefully the party will be extinct by then
d) It doesn't really matter.

In reply to MG:

a)dunno. I reckon a sharp lurch to the right and some back bencher/junior minister getting in.
b)Balls.
c)leader wise no idea. Generally i guess will disappear for a few years as a real force after imploding with the differing views no longer held together by a mid term goal. Then after a few years re emerge and build back up.
d)its not looking good for them is it. A couple of years after their great success and you forgot them and all the responses are somewhat negative.

Well it does down here in the Lakes! Tim Farron is the local MP and president of the Lib/Dems. My money is on him, I have never met a harder working MP, I have also never come across one like him who answers questions as honestly? AND no I am not in the Lib/Dems!

In reply to MG:

Margaret Hodge seems very sensible.
 Carolyn 24 Apr 2013
In reply to Removed UserJeremy Ashcroft:

Tim Farron has to in the running for (d), yes. And possibly Rory Stewart as a long shot for (a) and Cumbrian domination, although I fear Gove is a stronger possibility.

I hope Boris gets the job. Could you imagine Boris on the World Stage?

We'd get our eccentricity back and Boris could shag his way through the world causing untold diplomatic disasters.

Worth a punt at the bookies.

Post him where though? My vote would be for somewhere very cold, dark and far away.

Boris and Hessletine are the best Tory MPs in my lifetime.

Hessletine would have made a great PM, had it not been for his helicopters and I'd love to see Boris back on the Conservative benches. And if he made PM then you'd have to agree that PM Question Time would be a riot.

In reply to MG:

If we're playing fantasy politics (not that kind!) then Boris for PM and Prince Philip for king is the most amusing combination any of us could wish for.

might just be me but I would prefer the PM and MPs for that matter to stick with running the country. If I want a laugh I would watch a comedy show.
