The Open Outdoors award

Recognising individuals or groups who have inspired people to head into the outdoors, widened participation, improved outdoor education, or encouraged diversity.

Presumably SARS-CoV-2 must be in with a shout, it's certainly got the great British public teeming into the outdoors.

People that regularly get out couldn’t give a monkeys about TGO, their articles, writers, reviews or ‘awards’.  
 

The whole magazine epitomises what’s wrong with consumerist commercialisation of the outdoors.
